Smooth Move Mr. President!

Obama: US combat in Iraq to end by August 31, 2010

Mr. President - you truly are a moron! Sure, I think it is great that you want to bring the troops home - assuming their mission is complete. Afterall, who doesn't want this thing to end? But - you have got to be the most stupid individual in the world. Now that the enemy knows EXACTLY what date you're bringing all the combat troops home - now all they have to do is wait.

But, what I noticed was your very clever and coy language there "combat troops." Obviously intended to mask the truth from your idiot liberal followers who are only going to hear that you're bringing the troops home. If they actually listened to your entire speech or read the entire media pieces - they will find out that you're still leaving anywhere from 35,000 to 50,000 troops behind, until 2011 as long as there is no activity that would prevent it (read that as - indefinitely - no timetable for return). Nice one there! I can stand behind that. Unfortunately, unless you leave some serious equipment there and continue to provide military intelligence to those left behind - they're sitting ducks.

Still - you don't tell the enemy when you're leaving - that's strategic warfare 101! I'm sure glad your liberal loonies didn't care that you have absolutely no experience and voted you in. Psshhhtt.

military intelligence is an oxymoron
In Iraq it's not a war of Americans against Iraqis but of corrupt Americans and corrupt Iraqis against the rest of us. Now with Saddam and Bush gone we the people who pay for the show might have a chance to order the music

Wow, Wizard - seems you might have something against the military. Where is that coming from? Actually, I am quite hoping that Obama actually gets it and listens to the guys on the ground as Bush did. I supported Bush 100% on his mission and the mission of our troops.

Yes - there is always corruption - but - all we can do is continue to combat it and put those in jail that are corrupt. Other than a few minor mishaps there - I still think it is amazing that the Iraqi's with our assistance are now a free people to make choices of their own without fear of reprisal from a repressive government.

You can't bitch and moan about Obama pulling out troops and then bitch and moan about Obama not pulling out troops.

Also it's absurd to paint the position of every last voter for Obama (not all liberals but also conservatives, independents, and libertarians) as being for total withdrawal.

I know it's hard for a right-wing person to understand but the world is not made of absolutes. There is nuance and detail.

Thanks to Pres. Bush and the success of the surge, Obama can now bring some of the troops out of theater.
Kind of funny that Obama was against the very thing (surge) that is allowing him draw done. Will Obama give credit to Bush? I will not hold my breath.

Don't move to France quite yet-Just wait a little longer and we will be France. This is all brought to you
by the new socialist troika regime that is now in charge.
